Zone Types
Endless Encounter Zone

Endless Encounter Zone (crossed swords)

Endless Encounter Zone (EEZ), also referred to as "crossed swords" These zones will provide a unending amount of enemies to fight and loot, but energy must be expended for each encounter.

Dungeon Encounter Zone

Dungeon Encounter Zone (sword and chest)

Dungeon Encounter Zone (DEZ), also referred to as "sword+chest" These zones have a set number of encounters, usually ending in a boss fight of some kind, and a huge reward. They require a large amount of energy to enter the zone.

Quest Encounter Zone

Quest Encounter Zone (sword and scroll)

Quest Encounter Zone (QEZ), also referred to as "sword+scroll"

These zones only appear if the proper quest has been activated, and will disappear when completed.

Quest Skull Zone

Quest Skull Zone (skull)

Quest Skull Zones, also referred to simply as "skull"

These zones only appear if the proper quest has been activated, however, they do not disappear when completed.

Guild Raid Zone

Guild Raid Zone (raid)

Guild Raid Zones (GRZ), also referred to simply as "raid"

These zones are available to guilds that have been started by a guild officer. Energy is expended after each encounter.

Portal (vile) Zone

Vile Portal Zone (portal)

Vile Portal Zones (VPZ), also referred to simply as "portal"

These zones are available to explore once the quest Incursions has been completed (available at level 18).
